This classic Dachshund dog is handmade in Denmark and is solid wood. The head, feet, and tail are adjustable. The makers mark is stamped on the bottom of the foot. The wood is a walnut. Kay Bojesen has been making these types of toys since the 1950’s and they have become a staple for decor in mid century and Danish modern styled homes. Also comes with its original packaging.
